I walked out of the office feeling more defeated than when I had gone in!
That answer didn’t sit well with me, so I began reading and researching as many topics as I could related to female health & wellness… everything from diet, gut health, sleep, meditation, genetics, longevity, exercise, hormones, spirituality, relationships, stress, community and more.

The thoughts in our mind determine our course, steering your life for better or worse.  Ask yourself, do I believe that I can change? My health can improve? I am valued? That I matter? Do you see yourself as more...physical, mental, spiritual or whatever it is for you? We need to feed our mind so we can feed our life.

CAN I CHANGE?
What we once thought was our destiny, by our family history, we now know can be changed. 96% of our genes (DNA) can be altered how it is expressed, depending on the inputs we give ourselves. Weather it is food, community, mindset, or anything else, we become our thoughts, behaviors and ultimately this
makes our habits. We are marvels of adaptability and change.





Sleep
What is the BIG about "sleep"! Sleep has more health benefits that you can imagine. We think, our body need to sleep for rest and replenish, but it is so much more. As we sleep our bodies go into clean out and repair mode. We have a specialized lymphatic system in the brain called the glymphatic system, thanks to our glial cells. This system takes out the trash, metabolic waste and assists in DNA repair. But this only occurs when we are in deep sleep (Delta). We will discuss the stages of sleep later when we talk about quality versus quantity. Giving your body the right sleep builds a sharper brain, and plays a large role in both learning and memory. Chronic lack of sleep can also raise your chance of having a mood disorder like depression, anxiety or panic disorders. Additional sleep benefits include lowering blood pressure for healthier heart. Other benefits include improved athletic achievement, steadier blood sugars, weight control and a biggie, boosting your immune system and lowering your risks of cancer. Next we need to know how to use your sleep rhythm and drive. Our biological clock or circadian rhythm is a biochemical cycle
that repeats every 24 hours and governs our sleep-wake time, hunger, body temperature, hormone release and other subtle rhythms. Your sleep drive dictates the amount and intensity of sleep you need. These clocks should be on the same schedule. The hormone associated with this rhythm is melatonin. So where is this produced. Most people say the pineal gland in the brain, however it is produced 400X more in the gut. Yes, back to the microbiome. These bugs in our gut control our human health and wellness. Most sleep related hormones and neurotransmitters are made and stored in the gut. Gut health is essential. 80% of serotonin (the happy hormone) is made in the gut. That is important because serotonin is a precursor to making melatonin. Along with Sunlight, the bodies primary timekeeper, melatonin helps to set the brain's biological clock.
Nutrition
Food shouldn’t just taste good—it should give your body the nutrients it needs to fuel you through the day. Hitting
your 40s has plenty of benefits, such as earned wisdom, increased self-awareness, and self-confidence. Truth be told, though, it's tough getting used to some of the physical changes. A biggie is a downshift in metabolism and hormonal changes which can make weight maintenance trickier and weight loss more challenging. However, losing weight after 40 isn’t impossible. You absolutely can shed pounds at any age—and do so while simultaneously optimizing overall wellness. Don't get lost with which one is for me: Mediterranean, Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Atkins, etc. For starters - eat more veggies. Then pair the veggies with a source of lean protein, good fat,
and a smaller portion of healthy carbs, and you’ve created an ideal balance for both weight management and good
nutrition. I know easier said than done.
Stress & Burnout
When is the last time you have actually talked about Stress and Burnout and what have or are you doing about it? Do you even know what I'm talking about? Have you experienced being exhausted, stressed and/or overwhelmed? Well ladies, most of us have "Human Giver Syndrome".  What you ask? We are givers and we will always do more for others than ourselves. Therefore overtime, all of our stressors stack up and we don't recharge. Or often we may address our "Stressor" our "finances" or "work issue" it is now gone, however we do not allow our bodies to complete the stress cycle, which deals with the stress, the Neurological and Physiological shift to help us cope. Therefore the neurochemicals and hormones stay elevated. When this happens over and over, day after day, every organ systems takes it on, increasing stress on the heart, digestion, hormones, and so on... and you ask yourself... why don't I feel my best?
Fitness/Exercise
This topic is near and dear to my heart as an active person and in my career as a Physical Therapist.  However, as research has
evolved and I have aged, I've realized, "Us Women" have specific needs. Most importantly - ladies keep moving! Our bodies were designed to move.  Movement creates daily stressors on the body to heal and repair, it lubricates and bring blood flow and nutrition to our joints and muscles, it has a tremendous cardiovascular benefits as well as brain boosting powers we will talk about specifically. Exercise truly stimulates the body to wellness in a multitude of ways including of course weight management, decrease stress, improved sleep and boosts mood and overall outlook.  Movement, Fitness, Exercise or whatever you want to call  it should be a way of life, not something in addition to.  You should enjoy it and therefore be an easy habit to maintain. If you don't already have an outlet you 'love' keep searching. It could be walking, hiking, swimming, yoga, spinning, paddle boarding, golf, tai chi, pickle ball and so much more... just keep exploring.
Gut Health
The GUT is, at a very basic level, a biological "pipeline" that  travels from the mouth to the anus. Anything you consume that isn't digested and absorbed will pass through you and go out the other end. Some of the most critical functions of the gut include: foreign substance metabolism, nutrient metabolism, brain health, oral health, makes nutrients, immune health, cardiovascular health, and healthy lipid metabolism. Basically the gut prevents foreign substances from entering your bloodstream and reaching vulnerable organs and tissues, including the brain.Interesting, Western Medicine typically ignores the Gut. 74% of Americans have digestive issues and 52% of kids by the age of 16 have a chronic disease or illness. Believe it or not over 90% of Americans over 65 yrs. old take at least one prescription medicine to treat an ailment. We have thousand of drugs to address symptoms, but none to address the underlying cause of the imbalance that leads to disease. Many diseases in modern living begin in the gut.

The 6-week program is for Women over 40 looking to get their health and life back. This is for people who want to save time and money in finding solutions to their health and life challenges. This is for women who wants to feel better now and belong to community of women who feel the same.
Is there a money back guarantee?
Yes, you have 30 days to get a full refund if you are not satisfied with the course.  Coaching services are not refundable only the course content if you feel if it not serving you in Feeling Better.  


How long will I have access to the recording?
You can access the recordings inside the program for life.

Do you have to be over 40 years old?
No, 40 is a guideline. The program discusses information related to women around 40+ years of age. However if a womens feels they will gain value even if they are younger, they are welcome to join. 
Do I have to join the private facebook group, as I am not on facebook?
No, you do not need to join the private facebook group. The facebook group allows everyone to chat and discuss topics together as well as provide a safe forum to ask questions and be vulnerable. The weekly live Q and A will be held in this private fb group as well, so you would not have access to that portion of the program if you do not join the facebook group. 
Can I refer friends in other countries?
Yes, women can join all around the world. Currently the information is in English. People can add closed captions in their language to the videos. 

Do I have to watch the videos live, or can I access them later?
All videos are recorded. You will have them emailed to you, but you can access them under the different modules in the program. They will remain inside the program for future reference.
